Cooking Show: Your Perfect Sishebo Is Back!

Undoubtedly one of South Africa’s most popular cooking reality TV shows, the second season of Your Perfect Sishebo returns with a stunning mix of riveting and engaging content.


Contestants will yet again be awarded an opportunity to showcase their cooking talents on screen, while they share their life stories through their ‘perfect sishebo’.

Knorr Soup, Knorrox as well as Rajah Spice, have teamed up with the SABC to bring you the second season of Your Perfect Sishebo from April 2nd on SABC 1. The show will see 10 contestants battling it out to create the perfect sishebo whilst sharing their personal stories in the competition to win R200,000 and R50,000 worth of Shoprite vouchers.

Each episode will see contestants facing various challenges – and of course it’s out the door for those unlucky ones not making the cut.  Host Mpho Popps and judges Mokgadi Itsweng and Sifiso Gwala will welcome an array of celebrity guest judges every week, including Akhumzi Jezile, Lenox Bacela, Khomotso Christopher, Lerato Kganyago, Mi Casa’s J’Something and Mo-T, Thando Thabethe and Maps Maponya amongst others.


Viewers at home will also be able to play along by predicting who will make it to the final. Your predictions could see you winning an incredible R25,000.00 in Shoprite vouchers in our grand prize draw. Since her diagnosis she has made it her life mission to educate and enlighten people about HIV/AIDS.  She also teaches people how to better manage the disease by implementing healthy living habits that are financially viable and practical.

Tandeka is a consultant in a debt-collectors office and has a love for cooking. She has started to study catering at weddings in an effort to jumpstart her career.

Tandeka’s talents for singing and cooking are ignited when she’s in the kitchen, often singing while she cooks. Tandeka’s current focus is to ensure that she gets financially stable and fit so she can afford to live with her children and provide them with an environment that caters to their needs.
