Knorr Presents What’s For Dinner Cooking Classes By J’Something

Two of South Africa’s most loved brands – Knorr’s What’s For Dinner and Pick n Pay, are teaming up to make life easier for moms all over South Africa.


What’s For Dinner is South Africa’s biggest brand on Facebook – with a whopping 9,623,239 likes, over 700,000 from South Africa alone, and with over 1.5million views on the– visiting these sites has become a daily routine for millions of people across the country.


With simple, nutritious and inspiring recipes, What’s For Dinner is no longer a difficult question to answer!


Knorr is continually striving to make simple home-cooking an integral part of every South African family. To this end, Knorr is proud to announce an on-going partnership with J’Something – well known and loved as the front-man of the hugely popular group Mi Casa- but also more recently well-known as a passionate and devoted foodie.


J is the ideal Lead Chef for the What’s For Dinner programme – as his love for simple, home-cooked meals has always been an important part of his life. His passion for food developed from a young age, and he has made it a mission to share this love with millions of people around SA.


As J explains, “This partnership with Knorr is another incredible dream come true. I am thrilled to be apart of the Knorr family, and I share their commitment to simple, healthy and delicious home cooking.”


J will be the entertaining and enthusiastic host of a series of What’s For Dinner classes that will take place across Gauteng and will be appearing at various food events across the country.


These interactive and hands-on events will be open to the public, and as J explains, “These classes are gonna be a lot of fun and no doubt really insightful to the busy mom. I invite you to join me and let’s answer that age-old question of “what’s for dinner.”


These 14 sessions, hosted by J’Something will be open to public – but space is limited. Tickets will cost R200 per person and each guest will receive a goodie bag. Bookings can be made through the SA Culinary Club


At each event J will demonstrate an array of What’s For Dinner recipes, but with his own “twist”. Recipes will be simple, seasonal and delicious – perfect for busy moms and dads that don’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen.


In addition to hosting the What’s For Dinner classes, J and Knorr will also be presenting an array of What’s For Dinner resources for busy moms. From the Facebook page and website chock-full of recipes and tips, to a brand- new and exciting TV show specifically aimed at busy moms.
