VIDEO: There’s Always a Story in Nederburg

 

Live it, love it and savour every second of it.  That’s the message of Nederburg’s new TV advertisement.  The gorgeously shot commercial shows a dream-like sequence conjured by that first sip of Nederburg, as it triggers memories, reveries and flights of fancy. Swopping the cerebral for the sensory, it tells viewers: “There’s always a story in Nederburg”.

 

The ad that goes live in late February was launched at a media event held in a Cape Town gallery, where guests could sample wines from Nederburg’s elegantly repackaged range at individually themed stations as they embarked on a deliciously different taste adventure.

Each taste station evoked a scene. Guests could sip, sample and nibble at the installations, stopping at one shrouded in swirling mists reminiscent of a day at the beach or another that was like a dazzling carnival. There was a bullfight, a walk in the orchard, an interlude in a rose garden and more captivating stories to enchant and enthral.

The new TVC airs on South African television channels, including SABC 1, 2 and 3; e.tv, M-Net, Mzansi Magic, SuperSport and Food Network.
