Siba Mtongana brings more of that Sibalicious va va voom to Food Network!

On August 15, 2017, Food Network today announced that its brand new series of Siba’s Table will premiere on Thursday 7 September at 20:00 CAT, following the local and global success of series one and two.  Across ten episodes, award-winning South African chef Siba Mtongana will give traditional food a modern makeover and her signature ‘Sibalicious’ spin.


What to expect in Siba’s Table Series 3?

In Siba’s Table Series 3, the dynamic Siba is back in the kitchen, whipping up an array of delicious fusion dishes to serve her friends and family. Siba will get behind the braai, cooking up some Greek-style lamb with special guest chef and MasterChef South Africa Judge, Pete Goffe-Wood. Chicken gets a peri-peri makeover when Siba joins forces with the other queen of South African cuisine, Ina Paarman and Siba goes head-to-head with acclaimed chef and owner of Cape Town’s The Test Kitchen and The Pot Luck Club, Luke Dale Roberts.


Siba also takes on her toughest critic – her nine-month-old daughter – with some kid-friendly snacks for a family photo shoot and shares some of her food styling secrets when she gives beef carpaccio and spicy chicken tacos a presentation makeover.


There’s a lot more to enjoy, including braai pork sliders and sides, international favourites like poke and Australian wagyu steak, and some romantic dinner date delights that are sure to set the scene for love, as Siba surprises four of her friends by setting them up on a group blind date.


Series one and two of Siba’s Table are amongst the highest-rating programmes on Food Network South Africa, and have since gone onto become global hits. Siba’s Table series one and two were the first South African programmes to be broadcast on US Network, Cooking Channel.


Siba’s Table Series 3 premieres on Thursday 7 September at 20:00 CAT only on Food Network, DStv on Channel 175 .
