#SAsNo1 To Be Revealed In The Sky, TODAY at Green Point Park, Cape Town

Ide yafika imini ibikade ixelwa! The day that has been on everyone’s lips is finally here!

The 2015 Championship Boerewors competition winner will be revealed in the sky TODAY at the Green Point Park in Cape Town at 11:00.

Well-known South African personalities Marc Lottering, Toll Ass Mo and Corné Krige will be sky diving from approximately 9 000ft (2743m) to reveal the name of this year’s winner in the sky, whilst raising funds towards a charity of their choice.

Get your boss to give you some time off because you CANNOT afford to miss out on the opportunity to attend the announcement to see (and taste) for yourself which recipe has for the first time in the history of the competition, been selected as SA’s number 1 boerewors by YOU, the South African public!

The top three boerewors-fundis in South Africa, chosen by a panel of expert judges from the South African Chef’s Association will be waiting anxiously on the ground with rugby legend Naas Botha and local celebrity host Elana Afrika.

Phinah Maimela (37) from Lydenburg in Mpumalanga, George Baloyi (52) from Soshanguve in Gauteng and Ayanda Dyanse (28) from Humansdorp in the Eastern Cape are all eager to see whose recipe will be selected as 2015’s champion!

Well the struggle will be over by the end of the day!!!

Marc Lottering, Corne Krige and Tol Ass Mo are adamant that they’ll be sky diving to raise R100 000 for charity! Their respective charities are Wake Up and Feed a Child, Feed SA and Feed a Child.

South Africa’s number ONE boerewors will be on sale in all Shoprite and Checkers stores nationwide from 18 September – just in time to celebrate Heritage Day or be enjoyed whilst watching the Rugby World Cup!
