SASKO SAM

WATCH: SASKO Sam Is Back To Add A Touch Of Yummy!

He has a smile from ear to ear, laughing eyes, and arms that invite you in for a soft hug. Yes, it’s SASKO Sam, and he returns to shelves in January 2018, just in time for back-to-school lunch boxes and school sports day sandwiches.

SASKO, the experts in milling and baking since the 1930s, have heard your requests to bring Sam back. From the end of December, the new SASKO Sam Yummy Premium Slices and SASKO Sam Yummy More Slices brown and white loaves could be found on shelves in your favourite grocery stores.

Lungie Mnyamana, Marketing Executive Essential Foods, SASKO, says: “If you didn’t meet him when you were growing up, you would definitely have heard of this endearing personality, SASKO Sam. He is the friendliest slice of bread around. For several years, we’ve been receiving requests and calls to our customer care centre wanting to know where Sam went. We can now confirm that he took a little break to work on a new recipe for these amazing SASKO Yummy loaves.  We are excited about the taste SASKO Sam has developed, and the aroma says it all! It takes you straight back to the amazing smell coming from your mom’s kitchen as she baked for the family. I really encourage everyone to try it.”

SASKO understands that January is often manic with back-to-work and back-to-school hype. With SASKO Sam Yummy loaves filling lunch boxes with delicious sandwiches, there is one less thing to worry about.

There is currently a back-to-school promotion and competition with SASKO so please keep an eye on their  Facebook and Twitter for more information.
