Delicious Hearty Beef Stew

Preparation time: 30 minutes. Cooking time: 1 hour 20 minutes. Serves:  4 – 6

 

1 onion, chopped

25ml sunflower oil

1 clove garlic, crushed

500g beef cubes

1 cup carrots

1 cup of peas

3 tablespoons ROYCO GREAT VALUE BROWN ONION

200ml water

2 potatoes, peeled and quartered

 

Method:

 

  1. Fry onion and garlic in the heated oil until softened.
  2. Stir in the beef cubes and brown, add the carrots.
  3. Dissolve the GREAT VALUE SOUP with 200ml water and pour over the beef cubes.
  4. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, season to taste.
  5. Add potatoes & peas and cook for a further 20 minutes or until soft.
