Reds & Ramekins Rule With Quatro Pack From Nederburg

Hey guys, I’m so proud and excited to announce my latest collaboration with Nederburg!

After the success last year of its multi-pack of red wines offered with a pair of ramekins, Nederburg is back with a new vintage selection to warm you up this winter.

This time around, Nederburg has created a fabulous four-pack featuring all the varietal reds in the classically styled Winemaster’s Reserve range: the Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinotage and Merlot. The special collection comes with two complimentary red Le Creuset stoneware ramekins and is expected to retail for around R300.

Offering a fresh, fun and unexpected take on wine and food pairing and presentation, the famous winery has commissioned a series of 12 recipes of super-tasty dishes that can all be prepared in the ramekins.

I had the absolute pleasure of working on the recipes and each one of them is stunning and

Each one of the four reds is paired with paired a starter, main and dessert

Every four-pack includes four recipe cards of either starter, mains or desserts with easy-to-follow instructions and photographs with styling suggestions for each.

An example of the pairings is a Cabernet Sauvignon, for example, with a blueberry and rooibos soufflé, the Shiraz with a biltong hummus and the Pinotage with a mussel & red wine soup.

Says SA brand manager for Nederburg, Melissa Diedericks: “The idea is to pique your curiosity and take your palate on a journey of flavour.  Each pack includes a set of four recipes. So to collect all 12 recipe cards will mean several visits to your nearest participating wine stockist.  It’s definitely worth it, though, not just for the great and interesting wine and food pairing ideas, but also for the excellent value.”

The Nederburg four-packs will be available from leading liquor outlets and from late May 2015.

Go get it, folks!  Come to think of it, 4 bottles of wines, 2 Le Creuset ramekins and 12 mouthwatering recipes for only R300? Damn!  That’s a bargain!
