Hey guys! It is Feb and love is in the air!
It also happens to be harvest season, so there’s so much happening at this time of year we can’t help but feel the excitement! The plan is to get you relaxed by letting you know all the options available to you for these special occasions – whether you want to surprise your partner with a candlelight dinner, sunset picnic or a grape stomping experience at your favourite wine estate. We gotcha!
Valentine’s Day is about spending time with that someone special whilst enjoying a glass of chilled MCC. With the dominant colour being red, the L‘Ormarins Brut Rosé 2013 is perfect with its delicate salmon colour.
This elegant and statuesque Brut Rosé is made from a blend of Pinot Noir (90%) and Chardonnay (10%) grapes. A hand-crafted wine best described as delivering a constant stream of fine bubbles with aromas of framboise and strawberries on the nose. This carries through to the excellent vibrancy and a crisp crunch of acidity, balancing the ripe fruitiness thus resulting in a rounded, creamy, broad and textured flavour in the mouth. Its long aftertaste finishes on a light, fruity note.
With MCC gaining popularity and becoming the preferred ‘anytime’ drink, the L‘Ormarins Brut Rosé 2013 is best enjoyed chilled, on its own, or as the perfect partner to Tuna Sashimi or Rainbow Rolls, Duck and Pomegranate Salad, Smoked Venison Carpaccio or Grilled Prawns with Lime and Coriander.
L‘Ormarins Brut Rosé 2013 is available directly from the Tasting Room at R185 per bottle, or select specialist wine stores nationwide.
Complete the picture by spoiling your loved one to a Valentine’s Day-inspired picnic and movie night or brunch at the Anthonij Rupert Wyne Estate.
