New Cooking Show: Jenny And Reza’s Fabulous Food Academy

An exciting cooking show is coming up on our screens on Monday, 16 November 2015.   How’s that for #MondayMotivation ?

Unleash your cooking potential under the guidance of culinary gurus Jenny Morris, ‘the giggling gourmet,’ and Reza Mahammad,‘ the Spice Prince’ as they swing open the doors to their extraordinary food academy this November on Food Network, DStv channel 175.  The specialist chefs take their new pupils on a culinary journey through a range of different cuisines, looking to spark the enthusiasm for food that’s locked within their students.

New Cooking Show: Jenny And Reza's Fabulous Food Academy

Passing on their knowledge, and teaching with a smile on their faces, Jenny and Reza demonstrate how even the most hopeless of chefs can produce some exquisite dishes. From the cooking basics to the intricacies of Mediterranean and Asian recipes, a whole host of delicious spreads are cooked up under the guidance of the celebrity hosts, with plenty of outrageous laughs along the way.

I attended the launch held at the Cook’s Playground, the show is easy going, entertaining but educational at the same time.  Viewers will find the new cooking show relatable from watching home cooks trying to replicate dishes demonstrated by Jenny and Reza.  Each episode has different home cooks and new sumptuous dishes.  We all know Jenny and Reza have colourful personalities, what makes the show even more interesting is that they get to be themselves and their personalities work very well together.   That gives the show us a hefty dose of authenticism.

We’ll be sharing some of the recipes from the show – if you see a dish you like being prepared on the show just give me a show and it’ll be featured on the blog.  Are you excited yet?
