Food And Wine Pairing With An Air Of Mystery At Nederburg

Ever done a food and wine pairing? If no is your answer then this is a chance for you….

Nederburg, the official wine sponsor of MasterChef South Africa is now offering a mysterious, playful and relaxed food and wine paring for regular folks to take part in. Why is it mysterious? You might wonder…..Participants will know what food they are getting when they lift up the lid of their presentation containers but they have to figure out for themselves the wines they’ll be tasting or rather pairing with.

Participants will receive a platter with 5 gourmet canapés and five wines from the Winemaster’s Reserve range, all featured on MasterChef SA.  However the wine bottles will be wrapped to hide their identity.  Participants can then find the perfect match by trying out the combinations or use the accompanying clues supplied.  It sounds like fun doesn’t it? The canapés will include gourmet mini-servings of salad, salmon pate, chicken, beef kebabs and malva pudding.  The wine and canapé selections will change from time to time.

If you are able to correctly identify the wines you will go forward to a lucky draw in which prizes are being given away.  All this will cost you only R85 per head.  It sounds like a great and gratifying way to spend time with friends don’t you think?

No bookings are required unless groups of 10 or more are involved.
