COOKING SHOW: Being A Dinner Diva And Everything Else…..

Hey guys!  Some of my readers have complained that I am not posting often enough and that I am not posting recipes nowadays…..Hmmmm!

Let me tell you, I have been busy between having a life, a full-time job, shooting a TV show, writing or should I rather say preparing recipes for my weekly column in Cape Times, designing T-shirts and upgrading a site there’s no time for anything else.

Dinner Divas

Ooopsie!  I’ve mentioned a few things you didn’t know about, let me break it down for you:

Being part of a cooking show – There’s a new show coming up called Dinner Divas.  The launch was held yesterday and it’s safe to say you are going to look forward to your Saturday mornings from now onwards.  Dinner Divas will air on SABC 2 every Saturday at 8:30 in the morning.  I won’t say much about the show at this stage.  However, for more details  check out

All I’ll tell you is to just set reminders for yourselves!

Weekly Column in Cape Times– I have been writing a weekly column, Mzansi Cuisine, since the beginning of September.  It is about traditional/indigenous dishes.  I would say it is an extension of what I do with this blog.  I am thoroughly enjoying writing the column and preparing the dishes.  I’m hoping that those who read it enjoy it and I hope you guys get a copy every Friday!  This week I wrote about Diphaphata, a flatbread from the Tswana culture.  I’m sure some of you know it!  Make sure you don’t miss it.

Site getting a facelift – Yes!  Isn’t that awesome?  I’ve wanted to give this site a makeover for a while….and now it is happening!  The new site will have an online store where you’ll get to buy some of my products.  There’s gonna be a lot of new stuff on the new site.  It’s all about keeping it exciting for my readers!

Last but not least, my graphic designer and I have been working on something very exciting.  We’ve been working on ……..wait for it…….T-shirts!  They are so cool I hope you guys love them as much as we do!  I’ve shown the designs to few of my friends and they seem to like them and have already placed orders.

That’s all I have for now folks!  Keep well and enjoy your weekend!
