Baleia Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil 2017 – Packaging Perfection!

Near the small town of Vermaaklikheid along the Cape South Coast, the Joubert family has rooted themselves as ground-breaking Olive Oil and ultra-premium wine producers.

The Baleia Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil 2017 is a fusion of Frantoio, Corantina, FS17 and Leccino olives with distinctive aromas of green tomatoes and artichokes with a lemon freshness.

The taste has a buttery, smooth ending with black pepper hints and a pleasant bitterness reminiscent of the high antioxidant content.

What is Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil?

Cold-pressing is a chemical-free process using only pressure to produce a higher quality of olive oil which is naturally lower in acidity.  Extra Virgin Cold-pressed Olive Oil is a result of the first pressing of the olives, with only 1% acid.  This is considered the finest and fruitiest, and thus the most expensive; ranges from a crystalline champagne color to greenish-golden to bright green; generally, the deeper the color, the more intense the olive flavor.

The new packaging elegantly redesigned to create a modern and seamless elegance with flowing 360-degree design complimenting the Baleia Wines & Olive Oil brand.
